Discover Natasha King’s journey as a South African entrepreneur, actress, and advocate empowering women and youth through her impactful work.
My name is Natasha King, I am a South African actress, model, spokesperson, entrepreneur, brand ambassador, and social media influencer, proudly representing the vibrant city of Cape Town. In addition to my work in the entertainment and business industries, I serve as the Networking and Placement Manager for the Sozo Foundation, a role that allows me to connect and uplift communities in meaningful ways.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I am deeply committed to advocacy and empowerment. I am a pageant judge, activist, motivational speaker, and a former Mrs. South Africa finalist (2019). I was honored as the Top South African Ambassador (2020) and a Women of Wonder Award recipient (2020). Additionally, I am the official ambassador of the Reeva Rebecca Steenkamp Foundation and have recently been elected as the Heavenly Haven Retreat Cinderella Ambassador for 2025.
What sets me apart is my resilience and deep sense of purpose. I know what it means to start with nothing and build from the ground up. My journey has been shaped by gratitude, tenacity, and fearlessness, all of which fuel my passion for making a lasting, positive impact in the world. My “why”—the driving force behind everything I do—is clear: to honor God first, make my loved ones proud, build a legacy, and be a generational influencer who leaves the world better than she found it. More than any title or achievement, my greatest aspiration is to be the queen of people’s hearts—to inspire, uplift, and empower.
I want women and young people, in particular, to feel seen, heard, and valued. I want them to look at my journey and believe that if I could overcome obstacles and rise, they can too. My mission is to be a voice for the voiceless and to use my platform to advocate for women’s and children’s rights, mental health awareness, and addiction support.
Beyond my professional and advocacy work, I am passionate about acting, storytelling, writing poetry, surfing, cold water swimming, and health and fitness. My love for these pursuits is deeply intertwined with my commitment to well-being, resilience, and personal growth—values I strive to share with others through my work and influence.
Above all, my purpose is to inspire, develop, and empower—because when we lift each other up, we all rise.
Natasha King: What I have observed as one of the biggest challenges women entrepreneurs face is access to funding and resources—many of us have incredible ideas but struggle to secure the capital or investment needed to bring them to life. Another challenge is self-doubt and imposter syndrome—women often second-guess their capabilities, even when we are just as qualified (or more) than our male counterparts. Another huge hurdle women face is the belief that they have to be it all, and this then affects work-life balance, especially for mothers or caregivers trying to juggle multiple responsibilities.
To create solutions, we need to amplify each other’s voices—whether through mentorship, funding opportunities, or simply sharing knowledge and experiences. We need more female-led networks and investment groups that prioritize funding women-owned businesses. Creating safe spaces for honest conversations—where we can talk about our struggles without judgment—will also empower us to push past self-doubt and keep going.
Natasha King: Every day is different, but most start before the sun rises—to avoid traffic as I travel far for work. From 8 AM, it’s making coffee and balancing emails, calls, strategic planning, meetings, admin, or attending networking events. In the evening, I make time for personal growth, fitness, mindfulness, self-care, recovery, connecting with my partner, or quality time with family. Some days are filled with creativity and fun, while others involve admin and pressure. The reality of entrepreneurship and having multiple responsibilities isn’t always glamorous; it’s a mix of hard work, passion, and resilience.
Natasha King: Work-life balance isn’t a perfect formula—it’s an ongoing adjustment. Some weeks, work takes over, and self-care slips. Other times, I have to step back and recharge. The key is learning to set boundaries—knowing when to say no and understanding that rest is just as important as hustle.
Natasha King: Personally, I want to continue growing, learning, and making space for more joy and balance in my life. Professionally, I want to expand my impact, create meaningful collaborations, and mentor more women entrepreneurs and youth in having their own businesses or achieving their dreams.
Natasha King: By showing up, being real, and supporting each other without competition. Too often, women are made to feel like there’s only room for a few of us at the top—but the truth is, there’s space for all of us to win.
We empower each other by sharing knowledge, being open about our journeys (not just the highlights), and offering a hand up instead of seeing each other as competition. Celebrating authenticity, vulnerability, and resilience will create a community where women feel safe, seen, and empowered to dream even bigger.
Our role – To be the women who uplift, who collaborate instead of compete, and who remind every woman that she is capable, worthy, and unstoppable.
