Well, hello everyone! Please allow me to introduce myself. I am a small town soul in a great, big world. My name is Mariska and originally I hail from a city called Kimberley in South Africa’s largest province. Personally I call it South Africa’s black hole because it has the largest hand-dug hole in the country, and once you end up there it is very hard to claw your way out.
Realising how small and isolated you can feel when faced with the lack of opportunities or even advice, I wanted to create a welcoming community where you are encouraged to become The Boss Babe of your own life, whether it be personally or professionally. This is about owning your destiny and plugging in to a community of believers. Through the years I have been blessed with people who crossed my path that have inspired me to achieve my goals. Now is the time to pay it forward.
The purpose of this platform is to connect with women and girls of all levels of experience, different backgrounds and challenges to share ideas, dreams and advice. There is enough space for us all at the top, and we should encourage each other to go after our dreams! Where there is a dream, there is possibility.
