Amorie Pearson is an Entrepreneur – Owner of Amorie Arts, Boudoir by Amorie Arts photography and CoCreator – a creative agency. I worked in Corporate for many years but I did part time Modelling, Fitness, Make up, Art and Photography.
When people asked me how I started my business, I always say it was by accident. I just did my business part time to do what I was passionate about and that was creating beautiful things because my passion is art. I started doing make up first and taking photos of friends and business started to pick up. At the age of 26 my firm asked me to study Mechanical Engineering as I was working as an Engineering Assistant, and I realised that is not what I wanted to do in 5 years time. I knew I had something more to offer the world and by sitting in an office and seeing the same people every day I could only do so much.
I started working harder on creating a sustainable business and at the age of 29 in 2015 I stepped out of corporate. I’ve been doing my business full time since then and I found by faith in the Almighty Creator, focusing on something you believe in and working hard, anything is possible. Since then I’ve worked with a few Miss SA’s, Miss World, Mrs SA’s and Mrs Worlds. I am currently the Beauty photographer for Mrs SA. I also started to do MC work in 2017 and this year I will be speaking at my first event. I am working on new ventures this year in Fashion and in a Creative Direction.
