Natasha Thompson is an exceptionally dynamic and vibrant coastal girl from Durban, South Africa; now residing in Sandton, Johannesburg. She commands a room with elegance yet still bursts with a bubbly, positive and flirtatious personality that is approachable and contagious. Although energetic and incredibly funny; Natasha has experienced trauma, hard knocks and gone through tough experiences which have tested and proved her resilience, drive and ambition.
Natasha started her career in dance at age 3 as a budding ballerina. At age 11 she underwent a spinal fusion where after complications during surgery was told that she would never dance or walk again. Today Natasha is a choreographer and professional performer in 15 genre’s of dance and performance with a strong sense of purpose, vision and a positive outlook on life, experiences and adventure. Natasha has achieved multiple awards in dance, choreography and performing arts.
As the proud Director of On Point International; the activations and events agency, Natasha has launched major products and brands in the technology, automotive, financial, media, hospitality, fitness and wellness industries since 2010. Natasha has received Top Sales achievements in both real estate investments and retail exhibition sales and brand activations consecutively since 2015. When Natasha is not managing activations and events or choreographing and teaching; she is either baking fudgy center chocolate brownies, cooking fresh Mediterranean meals or hearty favorites for her friends and family or chasing waterfalls in the sun on a good hike and spiritual yoga session. She loves to travel, experiencing the cultures and cuisine and if her excursion allows for exploration with the locals she enjoys scuba diving, site seeing, adventure and adrenaline thrills. Natasha is also a Pisces, hopeless romantic who loves cuddles, naps and a great book.
Natasha proudly supports initiatives who look after woman and children; including Smile Foundation, Reach for a Dream, Curvy Girls, Husky Heaven Rescue and Oscar’s Arc. As a survivor of sexual abuse as a child and assault as a young adult; Natasha chooses to empower her fellow female and motivate the warrior woman in each of us. She creates opportunities for woman to understand and acknowledge their ambition, drive and dreams and assists them in reaching their highest potential and goals against all odds and doubt.
Currently, Natasha is launching an online event services directory; Events on Point. She is hands on in coordinating bespoke events and experiences for her corporate clients and managing local festivals and international entertainment contracts.
